Angela frascone biography
Fashion designer Angela Frascone, whose bold patterns and bright colors graced handbags and jewelry sold internationally at Target and other major department stores as well as on the Home Shopping Network, died Saturday at her home in San Anselmo after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer.
She was 55.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Monte’s Chapel of the Hills at 330 Red Hill Ave. in San Anselmo.
In the early 1980s, with her husband, David Farmer, Ms. Frascone founded Angela Frascone Accessories, a design company with a studio on Tunstead Avenue in San Anselmo that specialized in striking, whimsical resin jewelry and handbags.
They developed their own technique of submerging Ms.
Frascone’s original artwork in a patented polymer resin. Her graphic patterns and striking images in metallic colors became a signature look recognized throughout the fashion world.
