Sandesh Kulkarni is a filmmaker and actor who has contributed to both Hindi and Marathi industries.[1]
Early Life and Education
Sandesh was first introduced to theatre by his brother, Sandeep, who used to write and direct plays for Ganapati festivals.
It wasn’t long before he started acting in them.[2] He was taken aback by two plays from his childhood Mahanirwan and Tughlaq.

Though he could not understand the style of Mahanirwan, he was thrilled and enjoyed thoroughly, Tughlaq used two actors to portray the protagonist to show the change in character and personality. These were his lessons in theatre style and form.
Inspired, he participated in a workshop conducted by Satyadev Dubey and grew to be more serious about his interest in the theatre.
He was selected from India for an International Residency for Playwrights- A one month workshop in the Royal Court Theatre London in July 2003.
